How to whitelist an email sender in Outlook

You may need to whitelist the sender, or a whole domain name, if you are missing important emails. This will ensure that they reach their intended destination: your inbox. Your email service will determine the procedure. These steps will whitelist Microsoft’s Outlook, formerly Microsoft’s Hotmail or Windows Live Hotmail.

The Junk Folder is available for your review

To ensure that important messages don’t end up in your Junk Email folder, make sure you regularly check it. Based on several factors such as the time and content of an email, the Outlook Junk Email Filter moves spam to the Junk Email Folder automatically. It is easy to remove an email sent by a sender that you don’t want from your junk folder. To view the body of an email, click on Show Content. Next, click Mark as Secure. Next, click Mark as Safe. The sender will now be added to your Safe Senders List. All future emails should go directly to your inbox.
